AutoUpdate

AutoUpdate is a simple Perl script which performs a task similar to Red Hat's up2date or autorpm. It can be used to automatically download and upgrade RPMs from different FTP sites. Moreover, it can also be used to keep a server with a customized (Red Hat) distribution plus all clients up to date.

The program should work with any rpm based distribution. It's designed to run from a cron job and keep output to a minimum. It will try to resolve dependencies and pick the right architecture.
