gawk
The awk utility interprets a special-purpose programming language that makes it possible to handle simple data-reformatting jobs with just a few lines of code. It is a free version of 'awk.' GNU Awk implements the AWK utility which is part of IEEE Std 1003.1 Shell and Utilities (XCU).
