Internet radio protocol

'irpd' is a playlist manager and streamer for an Internet radio station. It streams MP3s to an icecast/shoutcast server, and it is fully configurable. Some of its features include requests, skips, restart current song, a configurable CGI front end, and more. It keeps statistics on songs played/skipped/requested, and it uses a simple protocol so it's easy to write clients for the program.
