GNU GNU Libidn

Libidn is an implementation of the Stringprep (with the Nameprep and Kerberos 5 profiles), Punycode and IDNA specifications defined by +the IETF Internationalized Domain Names (IDN) working group, used for internationalized domain names.

The library contains a generic Stringprep implementation (including Unicode 3.2 NFKC normalization, table mapping of characters, and Bidirectional Character handling), two Stringprep profiles; Nameprep (for IDN) and Kerberos5, as well as a Punycode and IDNA.

This project was formerly known as 'libstringprep.'
