yudit
Yudit is a unicode text editor for the X Window System. It can do True Type font rendering, printing, transliterated keyboard input, and handwriting recognition with no dependencies on external engines. Its conversion utilities can convert text between various encodings. Keyboard input maps can also act like text converters for instant transliterations of your text. There is no need for a pre-installed multi-lingual environment. The menus are available in many languages.
The program supports handwriting recognition and right-to-left writing, and has built-in printing support and direct TrueType support. You can display and print your text in a combination of TrueType and X11 fonts.
