The Flat Assembler is efficient; supports 16/32/64-bit (both AMD64 and EM64T) instructions; MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, and 3DNow! extensions; and generates binary/MZ/PE/COFF/ELF output formats.

This program uses the FreeBSD with an additional clause potentially make it a copyleft program which is incompatible with other licenses including the GPLv2, GPLv3, and AGPLv3. However, this does not render the program nonfree.

The licence and distribution terms for any publically available version or derivative of this code cannot be changed. i.e. this code cannot simply be copied and put under another distribution licence (including the GNU Public Licence).
