'Gcompressor' is a GUI frontend for various decompression tools. It can compress/decompress files and add or remove them from an archive, edit or selectively restore the contents of a file in an archive, or start up the appropriate applications for a file of a certain MIME type (ie if a file is an mp3, gcompressor wil launch mpg123.
