Linux (BLOB free version)

http://linux-libre.fsfla.org
Linux is a portable, monolithic kernel and a collection of device drivers that can currently runs on hundreds of different computer platforms, including microcontrollers and other embedded systems. When combined with the GNU System it forms the GNU/Linux operating system. The main version of the Linux kernel that is being maintained by Linus Torvalds, Andrew Morton, et al., contains proprietary code in the form of binary blobs, so in the interest of freedom, we are providing a link to a version of the kernel in which this proprietary code has been removed so that it is entirely free software.
