Full description Orca is a screen reader for Gnome that tri Orca is a screen reader for Gnome that tries to create a consistant user experience across multiple applications that use objects in different ways, and lets users quickly reach information not easily reachable through keyboard navigation commands. Orca defines a set of default behaviors (reactions to application events) and key bindings (reaction to user key presses). These can be overwritten on a per-application basis. Orca creates a script object for each running application, which merges both the default behaviors and key bindings, and the application specific ones. It also provides the infrastructure to activate and deactivate scripts and the various services accessible from within the scripts. rvices accessible from within the scripts.
