Full description PIPS stand for Parallel Information Proces PIPS stand for Parallel Information Processing System. The programs in this system convert data between the portable image map format (PNM) and the network common data format (NetCDF) and perform several operations on Net CDF files in parallel using the Parallel Virtual Machine.
