Full description 'PME' is a C++ wrapper around the PCRE lib 'PME' is a C++ wrapper around the PCRE library designed to emulate Perl regular expression in both syntax and behaviour. Its Perl-like regex modifiers (imsxUg), backreference access, substitutions with backreference access in the replacement string, and splits are all similar to their Perl counterparts.
