It simplifies the task of writing and maintaining GUI (graphical user interface) applications. It is written in C++ and is fully object-oriented. It is a multi-platform. Qt/X11 does not require any additional graphical layer above X11. It is highly optimized native code that runs directly on top of the lowest graphical layer Xlib. on top of the lowest graphical layer Xlib. |
