Lynis
Lynis is an auditing and hardening tool for Unix derivatives like Linux/BSD/Solaris. It scans systems to detect software and security issues. Besides security-related information, it will also scan for general system information, installed packages, and possible configuration mistakes. The software is aimed at assisting automated auditing, software patch management, and vulnerability and malware scanning of Unix-based systems.

Mediatex
The Mediatex project intends to make easier as possible archives management by spreading and accessing "write once read many" supports (as compact disks) and dedicated metadata. It provides a server sharing perennial URLs on electronic records.

Pass
pass is a simple, command-line password manager that stores each password in a separate text file, encrypted with a GPG key.

Passwords can be generated, managed and modified. They can also be temporarily copied to the clipboard from the command line. Finally, `pass` can be accessed by more complex interfaces, or integrated into other applications.
