'gnome-mag' defines a magnification service API and a sample implementation for GNOME 2. It includes a simple onscreen magnifier. It can be used in conjunction with GNOME Accessibility, for instance by clients of the at-spi interfaces (see http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gap/).
