GNU Privacy Guard (GPG)

Also known as GNU Privacy guard, this package is a complete and free replacement for PGP. It can be used to encrypt data and create digital signatures. It does not use any patented algorithms. It includes an advanced key management facility and is compliant with the proposed OpenPGP Internet standard as described in RFC4880. 'GnuPG' currently supports ElGamal (signature and encryption), DSA, RSA, AES, 3DES. Blowfish, Twofish, CASTS, MD5, SHA-1, RIPE-MD-160 and TIGER, and has language support for sixteen different languages.
