A suite of tools for easy access to the Dallas/Maxim 1-wire protocol and all the sensors, iButtons, memory devices, switches, encryption devices it encompasses. Great for home automation, server room monitoring, commerce and security. The system reconfigures on the fly, and devices are self-announcing and uniquely identified.

Supports USB, i2c, serial and network devices. Network transparent. Tools for web access, file access, command line access, perl, python, C, tcl, php and more...


Extensive man pages for all programs and devices. Active mailing list. Documentation on website as well.
