| Full description | The ResCarta Metadata Creation Tool creates document metadata (information about your images that's stored with them in a digital format). The Data Conversion Tool converts your TIFF, JPEG, PDF (image only), PDF (image and text), and WAV files into an archive data format. The Textual Metadata Editor and the Audio Transcription Editor adds, edits, or deletes textual metadata (searchable words that are stored with document images) to ResCarta-formatted documents The Collections Manager is used for the creation of collection level metadata to add, edit, delete or move digital objects in a collection. The Indexer creates an Apache™ Lucene™ index of the digtial objects in your collections. The Checksum Verification Tool verifies checksums (computed values of data that are compared to ensure data accuracy) of your data, to ensure the integrity of the documents in your archive. ResCartaWeb is a browser-based application for accessing your digital materials within the familiar environment of a web browser. You may use ResCartaWeb to browse titles, perform a simple search of your digital materials, review search results, view or print documents, and play or search audio files. |
