Easy-to-use GUI for GPG
EasyGPG is an easy-to-use GUI for GPG that uses Zenity and XClip. It makes extensive use of standard XDG Desktop files to provide easy processing of files and folders using drag-and-drop.
EasyGPG is portable. All files related to each copy of EasyGPG are kept in the same folder, which can be moved to another computer or kept on a flash drive (that can be used on multiple computers). Keys are kept in this same folder by taking advantage of GPG's --homedir option.
EasyGPG works well with both GPG 1.x and 2.x.
EasyGPG is hosted in the Community Software section of the Internet Archive and on Codeberg (similar to GitHub, but not owned by a business). News and information about EasyGPG, release notes, and discussion of issues about it are on Diaspora at https://nerdpol.ch/tags/easygpg
EasyGPG has been under active development since January of 2015. As of this writing, the current version is 4.30.1.
EasyGPG is distributed in the form of a signed PGP message in text form that contains a TAR archive containing the software. A GUI installer is provided at https://archive.org/download/easygpg/EasyGPG-Installer.tar.gz. See https://archive.org/download/easygpg/EasyGPG-Home.html The installer contains the public key used to check the signature.
EasyGPG is released under the GNU GPL, version 3.
