IRC client for Emacs
ERC is a powerful, modular, and extensible IRC client for Emacs. It is distributed with the latest release of Emacs.
It supports multiple channels and multiple servers, private message separation, highlighting, notification, channel tracking, nick completion, history, multiple languages, user scripting and auto reconnect.
This package is no longer developed as a separate project, but is maintained as part of GNU Emacs.
