D
- Data set:
- Test data set
- Training data set
- Validation data set
- Deep learning: A branch of machine learning that leverages neural networks to carry out tasks like classification, regression, and representation learning. An example of deep learning is its application in autonomous vehicles, where multiple deep learning models work together to recognize street signs, pedestrians, and other vehicles, enabling the car to navigate safely and effectively in real-time environments
R
- Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG): Generative AI enhanced with information retrieval functionality. RAG can be effectively utilized in the generation of scientific articles by automating the systematic literature review process; the RAG model retrieves relevant studies and data from extensive databases, synthesizes this information, and generates coherent articles that reflect the latest findings and trends in a specific research area, thus enhancing both accuracy and efficiency in academic writing.
T
- Transformer: A deep learning architecture created by researchers at Google that utilizes the multi-head attention mechanism.
