MineClonia is a Minecraft / Infiniminer inspired game, currently under active development.

Official Minecraft-like game for Minetest game engine. Fork of MineClone2 (abandoned) with focus on stability, multiplayer performance and features.

It is a “sandbox” game in which players explore an expansive world made of harvestable blocks. There are mountains, dungeons and very deep caves to mine from. Harvested blocks can be crafted into tools or objects, and/or attached to other blocks in the world.

Gameplay:

You start in a randomly-generated world made entirely of cubes. You can explore the world and dig and build almost every block in the world to create new structures. You can choose to play in a “survival mode” in which you have to fight monsters and hunger for survival and slowly progress through the various other aspects of the game, such as mining, farming, building machines, and so on Or you can play in “creative mode” in which you can build almost anything instantly.

There is also a multi-player mode with a number of active servers.

It works on Minetest Game Engine, Minetest has a server-side Lua modding API, which makes it possible to add and modify content in easy-to-write mods.
