In www-discuss 2020-11-09, John Sullivan reported that BBB has some files in the source repo with nonfree copyright headers. Some of them have been fixed, and BBB will be added to the FSD once everything is cleaned up.

Copyright Headers

I see the link to download has been updated to v2.2.30. Has the copyright headers issue been solved in this version? Or in version 2.2.17? Which version should we recommend as free?

Hi! I re-reviewed the BBB source code and the problematic code files are no long in the source (version 2.2.30). No additional issues were found, so the FSD entry was approved. However, version 2.2.17 (available in the repo's archive) still has the problematic files and should be consider nonfree. I also posted this news to www-discuss.
