RufasCube licensing

Hello, I updated and tweaked your entry. However, the licensing is pretty unclear, the only notice I've found was in rufas.cc. Would you please:

  • add a copy of the GPL 3 to the download, as required by the license?
  • state the license in the README.txt?

Thanks in advance. Calinou (t c), 04:42, 13 August 2014 (EDT)

AdaVenture

30jun17 Hello, I have seen my F.O.S.S. game called Adaventure sit on the "unapproved" list for at least a year now. I would like to see it finally make its way into the main software list soon. It is GPLv3 licensed, as are several other games I have listed including AdaGate. Thanks. Rod

Source code

  • What is going on with the source code not being in the repo. The source is available for download, but how is anyone supposed to contribute a pull request? Mmcmahon (talk) 12:14, 2 December 2021 (EST)
    • The download is a 7Z file that contains all source code, build scripts, assets, and precompiled binaries. All are gplv3.0 Note that I do "pull requests" manually... Near the end of all my Readme.Md files is my standard mechanism for user modifications: "Open source Ada developers are welcome to help improve or extend this app. Developer or not, send comments, suggestions or questions to: fastrgv@gmail.com" I use my own configuration management methods (not github). Thx.
      • Huh. Strikes me as odd that you are using GitHub as purely hosting, but not using GitHub for anything else. I would expect much less contributions with your method of only accepting email patches. Mmcmahon (talk) 12:09, 20 April 2022 (EDT)

Version download links

Fastrgv - Thank you for updating your entries on the Directory. However, the version download link should be the specific release that was reviewed for entry. If the link takes a user to the overall repository then there is a chance they will download a version that has not been reviewed for potential changes to its licensing and source code. Please let me know if you have any questions. Craigt (talk) 12:41, 3 December 2021 (EST)

CoterminalApps

  • Please delete the redundant version of CoterminalApps. Please approve the other one which I have updated with a definite version reference to allow you to check licensing, etc. Thx, fastrgv (fastrgv@gmail.com)
    • Which of these Coterminalapps or CoTerminalApps is the one to keep? My question about source code above has not been addressed. Mmcmahon (talk) 15:53, 19 April 2022 (EDT)
      • The first one you mentioned is the one to keep.
        • Deleted the second one. Reformatted responses in MediaWiki format. The most effective way to get entries approved is to join the Friday meetings on IRC. Mmcmahon (talk) 12:09, 20 April 2022 (EDT)
