Blitzping: Blitzping is an open-source packet-crafting and sending utility designed to be much faster, more portable, and more configurable than existing tools like nping and hping3. Developed with embedded devices in mind, Blitzping operates with bare-minimum dependencies, requiring only POSIX.1-2001 Berkeley sockets; this makes it highly portable to low-power MIPS- and ARM-based routers. Other than giving the user more control over editing all parts (including the reserved bits) of their packets, Blitzping also introduces several unique performance optimizations: pre-generating and buffering packets, multithreading, using asynchronous sockets, and using vectored I/O to minimize system calls. These optimizations enable Blitzping to significantly outperform its counterparts, achieving up to millions of (40-byte) packets per second even on underpowered ARM-based systems. Fwup: Firewall is a set of scripts (firewall, fwup and fwdown) that implement one or more ipchains firewalls that support various forms of network address and port translation. All you have to do is read the heavily documented policy file and edit it to reflect your network topology and filtering policy.

Gnunet: GNUnet is a framework for secure peer-to-peer networking that does not use any centralized or otherwise trusted services. Its high-level goal is to provide a strong free software foundation for a global network that provides security and privacy. GNUnet started with an idea for anonymous censorship-resistant file-sharing, but has grown to incorporate other applications as well as many generic building blocks for secure networking applications. In particular, GNUnet now includes the GNU Name System, a privacy-preserving, decentralized public key infrastructure.

GoVPN: GoVPN is simple virtual private network daemon, aimed to be reviewable, secure, DPI/censorship-resistant, written on Go. It uses fast strong passphrase authenticated key agreement protocol with augmented zero-knowledge mutual peers authentication (PAKE DH A-EKE). Encrypted, authenticated data transport that hides message's length and timestamps. Optional encryptionless mode, that still preserves data confidentiality. Perfect forward secrecy property. MikroTik Neighbor Discovery Protocol Tools: MndpTray is a Windows utility that allows you, to monitor and manage MikroTik devices, on your network from the system tray. The information is broadcast using the MikroTik Discovery Protocol (MNDP), which allows MikroTik RouterOS devices to discover other MikroTik RouterOS devices on the same network segment. This makes it possible for **MndpTray** to provide information about the host, to other MikroTik RouterOS devices and for other MikroTik RouterOS devices, to retrieve this information and display it in their own management interfaces. By providing this information, **MndpTray** makes it easier for network administrators to monitor and manage their MikroTik RouterOS devices, as they can quickly see the status of all the devices on their network without having to log in to each device individually.

Minetest: A Libre voxel game engine. Play one of our many games, mod a game to your liking, make your own game, or play on a multiplayer server. Game Example: MineClonia. MineClonia is a Minecraft / Infiniminer inspired game, currently under active development. It is a “sandbox” game in which players explore an expansive world made of harvestable blocks. There are mountains, dungeons and very deep caves to mine from. Harvested blocks can be crafted into tools or objects, and/or attached to other blocks in the world. There is also a multi-player mode with a number of active servers. Luanti has a server-side Lua modding API, which makes it possible to add and modify content in easy-to-write mods.

These metrics provide valuable capabilities and features for fault and performance management, which in turn are useful for many other aspects of network and business management. NMIS monitors the status and performance of an organization’s IT environment, assists in rectification and identification of faults and provides valuable information for IT departments to plan expenditure and IT changes. The NMIS business rules engine classifies events on their business impact, not just the technical nature. The rules engine is extremely powerful; however it can be configured in minutes for a network with a small number of devices to hours for networks with large numbers of devices.
