uBlock Origin
Finally, an efficient blocker. Easy on CPU and memory. Review notes: You can subscribe to GNU IceCat SpyBlock filters “Block all well known privacy trackers: (high risk of web page breakage)” and “Block all third party resources when in private browsing: (high risk of web page breakage in private browsing mode)” through https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/Filter-lists-from-around-the-web#external-filter-lists-of-interest. SpyBlock uses filters merged from EasyList, and EasyList is already enabled by default in uBO. However, duplicated filters will be discarded so you can subscribe to anything you want without being concerned about CPU usage. uBlock Origin is an excellent tool to block popunders, currently the only of its kind.

CompactHeader
Review notes: Add symbol in header plane to switch between compact and expanded view. Options to switch between one or two lines compact view, which buttons should be displayed in header pane. For Thunderbird 36 and older use version 2.0.9 (see version history)

Extra Folder Columns
Review notes: This extension is for those ID3 users who want the multiple-columns view that ID2 allowed

Addressbooks Synchronizer

Review notes: Confirm E-mail address before sending mail

Display Quota
Review notes: This extension will display the current status of your IMAP quota in thunderbird's statusbar and will warn you when you reach a configurable limit...

Mail Merge
Review notes: Mass Mail and Personal Mail

Manually sort folders
Review notes: This extension allows you to manually sort (order) your folders in the folder pane of Thunderbird or automatically sort them, but in a better way. This extension also allows you to re-order accounts in the folder pane.

Master Password+
Review notes: Check "Master Password+ options -> Startup -> Ask for password on startup" to get maximum security. It won't allow anyone to read your stored emails that otherwise is possible.

QuickFolders
Review notes: The "Swiss army knife" of folders. Turn your favorites into tabs - open folders and subfolders, move mails without scrolling around or searching. powerful + easy.

Remove Duplicate Messages (Alternate)
Review notes: Search and remove messages which are the same as other messages in your mail folders (referred to as duplicates or dupes).

Send Later
Review notes: True "Send Later" functionality to schedule the time for sending an email.

SmartTemplate4
Review notes: SmartTemplate4 offers an easy way to automatically create customized replies by auto-inserting various mail headers. Templates can be created for every account as well as for the default (all email accounts). Also supports the Stationery Add-on.

Stationery
Review notes: There is no other free add-ons that can acheive this to our knowledge. Another add-on, SignatureSwitch, can do this but it is proprietary.

Tag Toolbar
Review notes: Add toolbar for toggling tags.

Thunderbird Conversations
Review notes: This addon provides a conversation view for Thunderbird, grouping messages together and allowing you to reply "inline" thus providing a more efficient workflow.

ColumnsWizard
Review notes: Useful usage example: Create this entry: ID: category, Mail header: category, Column Name: Dynamic subject, Tooltip: Edit with Header Tools Lite. Add “Category” from the context menu. Install Header Tools Lite and follow the steps in the commentary for that add-ons.

Correct Identity
Review notes: Ever sent mail from the wrong email address because you forgot to select the correct identity in the compose window?

Enhanced Desktop Notifications
Review notes: Provides enhanced new mail desktop notifications using the notify-send library.

Header Tools Lite
Review notes: Useful usage example: First install ColumnsWizard and follow the steps in the commentary for that add-ons. Then modify the settings for Header Tools Lite by adding “Shortcut to change header details”

Mnenhy
Review notes: Add custom Headers when you compose.

Use Bcc Instead
Review notes: Who among us has not made the mistake of sending a 'broadcast' email to a large number of recipients without using BCC; thereby revealing everyone's email addresses to all? This simple add-on attempts to prevent this from occurring.
