DeSmet C
Complete ANSI C89 compiler, but small enough and simple enough to understand and play around with

An initiative by William Couture led to the successful liberation of a venerable commercial C compiler. Some effort has been made to explore/document/integrate the liberated (DOS based) environment. Runs on FreeDOS and Dosbox.
