Revision as of 15:33, 4 September 2020
- Summary: A group dedicated to translate few but important pages (category:translations) on the FSD. Development pages (eg Free Software Directory:Participate) etc are updated too frequently and are mainly used by FSD contributors that already know English, and these pages are not read by regular visitors, so they should not be translated due to the complexity to set up a dedicated translation group for that.
- Team Captain (multilingual): LorenzoAncora (proposed)
It has been suggested that the translators should be part of the GNU Translators team and that text but not software lists should be translated. For example, the text before and after the list at Collection:Windows but not the list itself. We want to keep lists on the FSD so they can be maintained by FSD contributors so they can use their accounts.
