GNUTS

GUI toolkit abstraction library.

GNUTS is a GUI toolkit abstraction library.

More precisely, GNUTS is a library designed to make writing applications with multiple interfaces easier. Work is currently going on to support both curses and GTK+ interfaces with GNUTS. This way, a programmer can write an application that uses the GNUTS API for drawing widgets on the screen, and then at run time the GNUTS library can determine whether GTK+ or curses should be used (based on whether or not is possible to use GTK+ and user options). The program then behaves in the same way, but looks like other programs using the underlying toolkit.
