Geodetic network adjustment program.
Gama is a program for the adjustment of geodetic networks. It is useful in measurements where Global Positioning System (GPS) is not available, such as underground. It features the ability to adjust in local Cartesian coordinates as well as partial support for adjustments in global coordinate systems.
Network adjustment in a local coordinate system and its functionality is represented by the program gama-local, which adjusts geodetic (free) networks of observed distances, directions, angles, height differences, 3D vectors and observed coordinates (coordinates with given variance-covariance matrix). Global coordinate network adjustment model is based on geocentric coordinate system (adjustment model on ellipsoid). Its functionality is represented by the program gama-g3.
