backup windows hierarchy preserving links permissions even if destination not windows filesystem
greenclone copies windows hierarchies, handling hard and soft links, permissions, afs, VSS shadows and very long filenames.
It was written to get round problems with programs like robocopy, and/or ports of unix programs like rsync. It can optionally store permissions and afs information in an auxiliary file so backups don't lose information even if the destination is not an NTFS partition.
