music_command

A tool that changes tracks or toggles the playing state in your media player.

music_command lets you change tracks or toggle the playing state in your currently running media player. For example, "music_command --next" will skip to the next song. It supports banshee, bmp, Muine, Rhythmbox, Totem, XMMS, mpc, and possibly Amarok and XMMS 2.
