Av-caster
From the project's README on 29 October 2021: AvCaster is built upon the JUCE framework, utilizing gStreamer as the media backend and libircclient as the chat backend. It is currently capable of recording to file or streaming to an RTMP server with screen capture (full-screen), webcam (full-screen or overlay), and audio (mono or stereo). It is moderately configurable, with preset configurations for streaming via popular servers such as livecoding.tv, and allows custom user-defined configurations to be stored as additional presets. This initial target is GNU/Linux, but it has been designed for portability and includes starter projects for AndroidStudio, CodeBlocks, VisualStudio, and xCode IDEs.
AviManager
aviManager helps you manage your (large) movie (DVD, DivX) collection. It ships with an intelligent voting system for many users, and attempts to find the best movie to watch. There is also a nice IMdb grabber for fast movie adding.
Avidemux
'Avidemux' is a graphical tool to edit video. It can open AVI, MPEG, Nuppelvideo and BMPs. Most common codecs are supported (M-JPEG, MPEG, DivX, Xvid, huffyuv, WMA, etc.) thanks to libavcodec. Video can be edited, cut, appended, filtered (resize/crop/denoise), and re-encoded to either AVI (DivX/Xvid) or MPEG 1/2.
Besssugo
besssugo is a free computational tool specifically designed to aid a cognizant expert—i.e. you, whether an engineer, scientist, technician, geek, etc—to build videos showing the result of a certain scientific calculation or whatever data can be computed or storied in a digital computer. Technically speaking, it is a plugin for the computational tool wasora, which provides means to parse and understand a high-level plain-text input file containing algebraic expressions, data for function interpolation, differential equations and output instructions amongst other facilities. Therefore, any mathematical computation which can be done by wasora—i.e. solving systems of differential-algebraic equations, multidimensional interpolation of scattered data, numerical integration and differentiation, etc.—can be combined with the facilities that besssugo provides to create visual representations in the form of animations.
Bibliogram
Bibliogram works without browser JavaScript, has no ads or tracking, and shows no pop-up that prevents you to view content without an account. It is inspired by Invidious. A list of available instances can be found here. See Bibliogram-specific and Instagram-related features here.
BigBlueButton
BigBlueButton supports real-time sharing of audio, video, slides (with whiteboard controls), chat, and the screen. Instructors can engage remote students with polling, emojis, multi-user whiteboard, and breakout rooms. Presenters can record and playback content for later sharing with others. We designed BigBlueButton for online learning (though it can be used for many other applications). The educational use cases for BigBlueButton are
  • Online tutoring (one-to-one)
  • Flipped classrooms (recording content ahead of your session)
  • Group collaboration (many-to-many)
  • Online classes (one-to-many)
Blender
Blender supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game creation.
Blind
blind is a collection of commands for creating and composing new videos as well as editing existing videos. Blind uses a custom raw video format for editing and composing which is very extensible and source control friendly.
BlueSpice
BlueSpice extends MediaWiki and enhances it with useful features, in particular in the areas of quality management, process support, administration, editing and security. There are two editions available: BlueSpice free and BlueSpice pro. BlueSpice free is a free of charge wiki version. BlueSpice pro is the business-critical solution with comprehensive functionalities and a subscription for support and software maintenance.
Bluraybackup
bluraybackup makes a decrypted copy of the whole Blu-ray Disc Movie or it extracts a decrypted version of a specific BDMV stream. Inspired by dvdbackup, developed in C99 following the suckless philosophy.
