{{Project antifeature
This template displays the alphabetic time zone abbreviation for the one which Boston is under. Currently it should return either <code>EST</code> (default) or <code>EDT</code>.
|Antifeature=name uses a word to avoid: Linux System
This template depends on {{#tag: code | <nowiki>{{LOCALTIMESTAMP}}</nowiki>}} (which returns the timestamp for the last time the page was rendered, according to the server's local time) and on {{#tag: code | <nowiki>{{CURRENTTIMESTAMP}}</nowiki>}} (which does the same but always in UTC+0000).
As long as {{#tag: code | <nowiki>{{LOCALTIMESTAMP}}</nowiki>}} is correctly set, then the alphabetic time zone abbreviation should change correctly when the time is due.
{{#switch: {{#ifexpr: {{#time: xNU | {{LOCALTIMESTAMP}} }} > {{#time: xNU }}
                      | +{{#expr: ( {{#time: xNU | {{LOCALTIMESTAMP}} }} - {{#time: xNU }} ) / ( 60 ^ 2 ) }}
                      | {{#ifexpr: {{#time: xNU | {{LOCALTIMESTAMP}} }} < {{#time: xNU }}
                                  | -{{#expr: ( {{#time: xNU }} - {{#time: xNU | {{LOCALTIMESTAMP}} }} ) / ( 60 ^ 2 ) }}
                                  | +0 }} }}
          | -5 = EST
          | -4 = EDT
          |#default = <span class="error">EST (fallback mode)</span> }}</includeonly>
