Questions for others When editing software pages; Should I be including signatures? If so, is it preferable to generate a sha256 sum myself or to provide the md5 from the projects download page?

  • Answer from Michael: You do not need to include signatures, but you can if you want to. When I make a page, I do these entries at a minimum: Name, Short Description, Long Description, Website, and license. If I have more time, I add VCS clone command, Version Identifier, Version Date, Version Download, and categories.
