free software definition
Hello ACProctor, the program you added to the directory appears to be non-free software. Please read the free software definition before adding programs to the directory. Thanks! -- Sudoman (talk) 10:33, 8 November 2018 (EST)
- I have read definition and disagree with your findings, Sudoman. I have made a case on your talk page for how it conforms to the definition. --ACProctor (talk) 09:46, 16 November 2018 (EST)
- Thanks for looking into this. I'm afraid that we can't promote a system that relies in part upon a non-free program, even if the generated code is human-editable. If there were a free program that does this, or we could link to the file format alone, then I think that would be okay, but I'm not sure if a file format alone is enough to create an entry on the FSD. Thanks! -- Sudoman (talk) 14:51, 16 November 2018 (EST)
