− | Hello,
| |
− | I had reacted via Donald, I want to let you know that these also exists

− | *https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/libcdio
| |
− | By the way, maybe the following is a bug in vcdimager
| |
− | vcdimager has a file that refers to gpl 2 only https://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/vcdimager/vcdimager/lib/sector.c?view=markup

| |
− | The last change on that file was 2005 before GPL 3 existed. This project is basically frozen. Changing just the license when nothing else has changed is not something I want to do. If others do, perhaps Herbert Valerio Riedel is interested in this, then sure go ahead.
| |
− |
| |
− | If there is a need to update the software, changing the license then makes more sense.
| |
− |
| |
− |
| |
− | If that file is needed, then you can not release the software as gpl 2 or later. --[[User:Bendikker|Bendikker]] ([[User talk:Bendikker|talk]]) 13:37, 5 September 2019 (EDT)
