|Full description=XaoS is a real-time interactive fractal zoomer. It displays any of eleven fractal formulas to let you zoom smoothly into the fractal. The first version written by Thomas Marsh was a simple Mandelbrot viewer, later modified by Jan Hubicka to support high frame-rate zooming. XaoS is a graphical program that generates fractal patterns and allows you to zoom in and out of them infinitely in a fluid, continuous manner. It also includes tutorials that help to explain how fractals are built. It can generate many different fractal types such as the Mandelbrot set. Various coloring modes are provided for both the points inside and outside the selected set. In addition, switching between Julia and Mandelbrot fractal types and displaying planes is provided.
