XawTV

TV viewing application and utilities

XawTV is a simple Xaw-based TV program which uses the bttv driver or video4linux. It also contains various command-line utilities for grabbing images and AVI movies, tuning in TV stations, etc. The package includes:

* xawtv-X11 application for watching TV.
* motv- motif-based GUI for xawtv.
* fbtv- TV application for the GNU/linux console; uses the 2.2.x
framebuffer devices.
* v4lctl- command line tool to set video4linux parameters
* streamer- command line tool for capturing still images and avi-videos
* radio- curses-based radio app.
* webcam- captures images and uploads them with FTP to a
Web-Server in a endless loop.
* alevtd- http server for videotext pages.
