With this addon you can play almost any video on YouTube without Flash as a HTML5 video. This includes videos with monetarisation enabled which normally don't play in the html5 player.

With standard settings, videos are automatically loaded in the HTML5 player.

Features

* Select different methods to force the HTML5 player

* Change the size and/or the quality (independently) of the video (manually or automatically)

* Disable Flash only on YouTube (experimental feature which does not always work properly!)

* Disable the YouTube SPF function (active by default)

* Workaround for the volume bug

Current problems

* Only 360p and 720p are supported in the HTML5 player with firefox, because the MSE are not yet supported fully.

* If you have problems under Linux or MacOS, please see Developer’s Comments at the end of this site.

* Some live-streams and copy protected videos can not be viewed
