The Apache OpenOffice Extensions repository offers add-ons, dictionaries and other packages to extend OpenOffice with additional features. While the OpenOffice applications are free software, the Apache OpenOffice Extensions repository lists proprietary extensions as well as those that are free software. Most extensions work with both the LibreOffice and OpenOffice applications. This is the repository that the OpenOffice applications use by default.

The LibreOffice Extensions repository only includes extensions published under free software licenses. This is the repository that the LibreOffice applications use by default.

The free software collection below is maintained by contributors to the Free Software Directory. This listing is independent of the LibreOffice and the Apache OpenOffice extension repositories' listings.
