The repository also has a million dependencies, need to check this in more detail.
8/5 Craigt (talk) 14:48, 5 August 2022 (EDT) Although the Nightlies are not specific versions, they are a specific code base which is identifiable and separated from the master. I see no objection to using a nightly as a version.

If they are necessary for the program to function, there will be an issue. If they are sample files for testing and are not a part of the code needed to compile and run the program, then it should be fine.
