Podman

https://podman.io/
A tool for managing OCI containers and pods

Podman is a tool for managing containers and images, volumes mounted into those containers, and pods made from groups of containers.

It works like Docker, except it works without a daemon and without root. It also does not build images; that work is left to another tool called Buildah.
