GNU Mailutils

https://mailutils.org/
Utilities and library for reading and serving mail.

Mailutils is a collection of programs for managing, viewing and processing electronic mail. It contains both utilities and server daemons and all operate in a protocol-agnostic way. The underlying libraries are also available, simplifying the addition of mail capabilities to new software.

Several tools are built atop of these libraries and included in the package. Among them are pop3 and imap4 servers, the traditional mailx mail reader, the sieve mail filtering utility and a complete set of MH utilities that can be used with GNU Emacs MH-E mode.
